Keto baked chicken drumsticks

 

This recipe was a happy accident of finding a low carb friendly pasta/pizza sauce and buying an abundance of budget friendly chicken legs/drumsticks. 


It was simply a matter of combining the two together and the resulting deliciousness is what I’m sharing with you today. Not only is this dish low carb and keto diet friendly – it’s picky eater approved!

Ingredients

  • 2kg/4.4lbs Chicken Drumsticks/Legs
  • 1 Cup Pizza/Pasta Sauce
  • Peeled Garlic Cloves
  • Salt/Pepper to taste
  • Grated Cheese


Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and get out an oven proof dish.
  • Fill the dish with the chicken.
  • Pour over the sauce and dot with the garlic cloves.
  • Add seasoning of choice and stir to combine.
  • Place into the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, turn the chicken pieces over, sprinkle over the grated cheese and return back to the oven for a final 30 minutes or until cooked through.
